Oh my goodness! She is just beautiful. Look at those gorgeous roses and shoes. :)
I like pink, I like rose and I like ballerina’s. So I like this gorgeous illustration. Good job.
Very nice! Love the colors and the pose.
Oh my goodness!! I am so happy to hear that everyone likes my little ballerina! She turned out to be a much more elaborate/labor intensive piece than I had originally anticipated, so it’s nice to get such good feedback for all my efforts.
Very impressive! Tremendous life and vibrant colors in every detail! Your illustration leaves no other alternative but to make everyone smile, and enjoy everything around them.
This is wonderful!
You are deviating from clay, I see. Isn’t it a nice change to finish a piece and not have to wait to unload the kiln to see if it is okay?
Hi Barb. Thank you so much for your kind words on my new work! It was difficult for me to change mediums at first, but now I am so very excited about this new work. I love mixing the colors, patterns, and textures of the papers. And, yes, it is wonderfully refreshing to know that I will not spend days working on a piece only to have it explode in the kiln…plus, my hands are now amazingly soft!!
Your ballerina makes me smile when I look at her, she’s beautiful. You give little tiny pieces of paper a life.
